Coronation Street: Simon & Peter Barlow To Be Trapped In Fire
The Coronation Street blog has reported today that Peter Barlow and his young son Simon are to be caught in a house fire, from which they may not escape.
Unsurprisingly the fire occurs due to a very drunk Peter, who presumably leaves a cigarette burning or something equally stupid. Peter and Simon are asleep when the fire takes hold and insiders have indicated that it is unlikely that both will be rescued in time.
Peter is just back from a supposed trip from rehab, though he actually embarked on a luxurious cruise where he cheated on his devoted girlfriend Leeanne Battersby. He is known up and down the street as a bigamist, a cheat, a liar and a drunk. I suppose this upcoming tragedy would be a little bit of Karma coming his way!
