Ryan Connor is set to dig himself an even bigger hole for himself tonight when he lies to mum Michelle about where he got the cocaine from, causing an almighty Coronation Street brawl!

Fans of the show will know how since his return from Uni, Ryan (Sol Heras) has been on a downward spiral displaying out of control behaviour which has left his poor mum, Michelle (Kym Marsh) in despair.  Things took a sinister twist earlier this week when, after trying to push drugs on Kylie (Paula Lane) he was caught in the Rovers toilets snorting cocaine.

To teach him a lesson Michelle phones the police and reports her son for possessing the drugs after Kylie’s husband, David (Jack P Shepherd) informed her of the whole sorry affair.  But when Ryan is released from his cell tonight he tells his long-suffering mother that he got the drugs from Kylie!

Michelle hot-foot’s it round to confront Kylie in a typical Corrie showdown on the famous cobbles, then returns to her flat to cut up all of Ryan’s bank cards, leaving the teenage druggie horrified.

He is forced to admit he lied about Kylie’s involvement but  insists to Michelle that it was an isolated incident, however it looks like the factory PA is finally starting to wise up to her menacing son, can he convince her he can change?

Elsewhere on the Street Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) takes her temper a mile too far tonight as she savagely attacks Tyrone (Alan Halsall), leaving him black and blue when she finds out that he has given Tommy (Chris Fountain) a payment break from the money he owes him, will he forgive and forget again, or could this be the final straw for the kind hearted mechanic?
