Oh dear, we all knew that Ryan Connor was going to be trouble when he came back to the cobbles of Coronation Street, but the transition from geeky grunger to down and out manipulative villain has been so intense his own mother will find it hard to recognise him (mainly as he is a  a different actor!)

In the months leading up to the youngsters return, stories of drug abuse and lesbian seduction circulated fast making Ryan’s (Sol Heras) homecoming a much-anticipated whirlwind of mischief, and tonight see’s the next stage of his downward spiral as he comes up with an evil genius plan to sue his own Aunt’s factory.

Things are set to kick off in tonights episode after his mum, Michelle (Kym Marsh) forces her wayward teen to take a packing job at the factory where she works, in a bid to make him pay for the fire damage he caused at number 13.

Whilst under the strict tutorial of Kirk, Ryan starts plotting and stages a fall, pretending to hurt his back, whilst Kirk’s is turned.

He is taken to the hospital and given the all-clear, but insists to everyone that he is till in agony, and that he is going to sue Underworld for every penny he can!
