Coronation Street spoiler: Tyrone Dobbs will be left heartbroken when scheming Kirsty Soames tells him her baby isn’t his!

Things are not set to get any better for poor Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street, as his twisted boyfriend-bashing ex, Kirsty Soames, goes behind his back to register his daughter, leaving the father’s name as unknown so he has no rights over his own baby.

Fans of the show will know how heavily pregnant Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) walked out on Tyrone (Alan Halsall) last week, after another row turned into another violent assault on the kind-hearted mechanic.  Since then, Tyrone has decided to seek legal advice over the future of his unborn baby.

However, when the ex-police woman returns home to have the baby with Tyrone, things take a cynical turn for the worst as she declares that the baby isn’t even his!

The situation arises next month, when Tyrone announces that he is taking their new-born daughter, Ruby, away from Soames when, after the baby won’t stop crying, the violent rages Kirsty is prone to, which quite clearly weren’t just her hormones, return and she ends up trashing the house.

This leaves Tyrone fearful for his daughter’s safety, and finally finding the courage to stand up to his abuser, tells her he is going for full custody of the baby.

In scenes to be screened next month, Tyrone tells his fiancée: “I won’t stop you seeing Ruby but my mind’s made up.

“There’s no way I’m letting you have custody.”

However, Kirsty spitefully replies: “She’s not your baby.

“While you were busy this morning I was in town registering Ruby’s birth.

“I left the father’s name blank, father unknown.

“You have no legal right over my daughter.”

This comes as a massive blow to Tyrone, leaving him stunned and numb.

A show insider said: “For Tyrone, this is worse than the beatings he has taken from Kirsty.”

However, his best pal, Tommy (who’s girlfriend Tina has filled him in on the domestic violence situation his friend has had to endure) is on hand to tell Kirsty exactly what he thinks of her.  Chris Fountain, who plays the Dreamy Duckworth, said:

“Kirsty’s having one of her temper tantrums and Tommy can’t hold back any longer.

“He tells Kirsty that he knows all about what she’s been doing to Tyrone.”
