In upcoming episodes of Coronation Street, fiendish cad Lewis Archer (Nigel Havers) finds the perfect opportunity to round off his plan to destroy Gail McIntyre’s life when he overhears Kylie Platt and Nick Tilsley talking about their one night stand…

Lewis hears that Nick (Ben Price) may be the father of Kylie’s baby after hiding behind a desk in the office at the Bistro having gone in there to get Gail’s bank details from the computer.

And once he’s heard Kylie (Paula Lane) and Nick’s secret, he’ll waste no time in using it to his advantage by telling Kylie that unless she gets him the login information so that he can access Gail’s bank accounts online, he’ll tell David (Jack P Shepherd) that he might not be the baby’s father, Kylie has no choice but to comply.

So, armed with access to Gail’s accounts, crafty Lewis will waste no time in trying to clearing out all her cash…

But before that, as we’ll see in the episode that will air on Monday, January 28th, Lewis has well and truly alienated Gail (Helen Worth) from her mother Audrey (Sue Nicholls) after the salon owner walked in on her former fiancé Lewis snogging her daughter!

And in the wake of Audrey’s upset, and her vow never to speak to Gail again, Lewis once again reiterates that Gail should take out a big loan, using her house as security, and move to Italy with him where they can invest in a hotel that they’ll run together…

But of course, he has no intention of going anywhere with Gail, and only wants to wreck her life, as she wrecked his by coming between him and Audrey.

So will Lewis win? Will Gail be left broke and in debt, her life in ruins and her family turned against her?

Well, we’ll have to tune in to find out! For now, here’s a look at a clip from next week’s episodes…
