There’s matters of the heart at the forefront of the drama next week for both Chesney Brown and Sally Webster, both of whom are determined to move on from their former relationships by starting out in new ones…

However, for Chesney (Sam Aston) it’s clear that although he badly wants to forget about his former fiancé Katy Armstrong (Georgia May Foote) he finds that easier said than done, and is therefore more hurt than ever when she moves in with her new man, Ryan Connor. More on that in a moment…

But first, as mentioned, Sally’s ready to find love again, and keen to see her mum happy, Sophie (Brooke Vincent) and her girlfriend Jenna (Krissi Bohn) suggest to Sally (Sally Dynevor) that she give online dating a try.

However, Sally’s not overly familiar with t’interweb, so Sophie and Jenna help her out with making an online profile, and sure enough, by the time we the episode that airs on Thursday, May 30, Sally’s got a date, but will she go through with it?

Back now to Chesney’s strife, and as mentioned, after Katy moves in with Ryan, Ches decides to give a relationship with newcomer Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn) a go, but as we’ll see in the episode that airs on Wednesday, May 29, though Chesney feigns apathy over Ryan and Katy’s new living situation, Sinead isn’t so sure he’s as over her as he’s making out…

However, when he later refuses to have baby Joseph so that Katy can have a night out with Ryan, Sinead thinks maybe she was wrong and he is ready to move on. But later, he relents, which makes Sinead once again think that – even when it’s to his own detriment – Ches still has a big soft spot for Katy.

Will either Ches or Sally – or both – find new love? We’ll find out soon!
