David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is of course a very proud dad to be, so when his wife Kylie (Paula Lane) feels the baby kick for the first time in the episode that airs on Monday, May 6, David can’t wait to get his brother Nick to share the experience of feeling the baby moving round…

But of course, David has no idea that Nick (Ben Price) may in fact be the baby’s father, but as David insists that Nick feel the baby kick, he has little choice but to do so, but he and Kylie are of course left squirming over the incident…

However, as the week wears on and David of course continues to be oblivious to his wife and brother’s betrayal, he continues to insist on covering Kylie’s shifts at the Bistro, despite the fact that he’s exhausted.

But when his gran Audrey (Sue Nicholls) insists that he take a day off from the salon, rather than resting up, David takes his stepson Max to the park – along with baby Joseph – but while there, he begins to feel unwell…

Soon, David collapses and has an epileptic fit, leaving a panicked Max to shout for help, but when nobody comes, the clever boy finds David’s phone and call Nick, who immediately rushes to the park.

In the double-bill of episodes that air on Friday, May 10, David’s worried that his epilepsy could get worse, and he’s concerned how it will affect the future of his family…

However, Nick and Kylie promise they’ll help him every step of the way, but as David thanks them for being “the best brother and wife anyone could wish” they once again squirm, knowing that the truth quite clearly shows they’re anything but!

Will Nick and Kylie confess their secret? Or will they allow David to continue to think the baby is definitely his?
