It was bound to happen sooner rather than later and on tonight’s Coronation Street episode, Karl and Sunita’s affair finally becomes public knowledge.

It’s fair to say that after putting up with more than her fair share of trouble from the gambling taxi driver, Stella is livid when she discovers that Karl has been sleeping with her buxom barmaid while they were supposed to be getting their relationship back on track.

Things come to a head on this evening’s installment when Sunita shuts the corner shop early and visits the Rovers for a post work tipple. Dev is of course not happy that valuable trading hours are being wasted and tells his fiance to return to the counter, however she refuses and he storms off in anger.

Later, Sunita persuades Karl to have a lock in and after drinking her own body weight in wine, the brunette bombshell tempts her lover into bed once more.

As the pair are busy getting steamy, Stella and her suspicious daughter Eva march into the room and after she recovers from the shock, Stella pulls Sunita out of the room and slaps her across the face.

Dev emerges from his nearby home to see what all the shouting is about and is devastated to find out that the mother of his two children has been sleeping around with someone just down the street.

he and Stella kick their respective spouses out on their ear, leaving Karl and Sunita homeless and in need of a bed for the night…

Do you feel sorry for them? Or does your sympathy lie with Stella?

We’re not sure we have much room in our hearts for Dev, after all didn’t he and Sunita split years ago because he couldn’t keep it in his trousers!
