In a double-bill of episodes of Corrie on Friday, 3 January, Gail and David are concerned about Kylie’s behaviour, and worried that she seems to have just given up.
But when Gail urges Kylie to spend quality time with her children, Kylie dismisses the idea, however, while alone in the house with Max and Lily later, she cracks open a bottle of wine and starts knocking it back.
Passed out on the sofa, does she have any idea of her children’s impending danger?
Elsewhere, Tina’s furious when Liz confesses to telling Peter to back off, and Peter rails at Tina for blabbing to Liz, leaving Tina hurt that Peter fears more for his marriage than her.
Meanwhile, happy to have both her sons at home, Eileen’s floored when another surprise visitor turns up – Jason’s dad!
Also, Hayley welcomes Suzie, a humanist celebrant, to the café to discuss her funeral, while elsewhere, Nick’s horrified to find Leanne is still scared of him.

In the second episode, still out for the count, Kylie’s oblivious as Max attempts to cook pasta on the stove.
When David arrives, he sees Max through the window and kicks down the door, terrified that he won’t get to the little boy in time…
Incensed that Kylie’s actions could have killed the children, he tells her enough is enough.
Can this troubled couple put the past behind them and move on?
Elsewhere, unable to be around Peter, Tina makes her mind up – she’s moving to London. She tells Peter of her plan to leave, but will it be as easy to let go of Peter as she imagines?
Meanwhile, Tony and Jason go to the Rovers to talk, but Jason remains hostile, having been let down by his dad many times in the past. However, Tony claims he wants to start being a proper father to Jason.
And finally, Peter takes Carla to the Bistro for a birthday dinner.
