Coronation Street Spoilers: Leanne Barlow (Jane Dansn) re-books her wedding to Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) tomorrow night!
Fans of the award-winning soap will know how Leanne (Jane Danson) and Nick (Ben Price) were due to marry for the second time on Christmas Day, after the return of Leanne’s ex-husband Peter (Chris Gasgoyne) right before they were due to jet off on holiday, put a stop to their booked Vegas wedding.
However, when the big day arrived Leanne, who had been propositioned by Peter the previous night, legged it out of her wedding car to take her ex up on his offer.
Unfortunately for her Peter denied he had ever made any suggestion of a reconciliation, due mainly to the fact that the girlfriend he thought he had lost forever, Carla (Alison King) had turned up and taken him back, leaving Leanne heartbroken.
Leanne decided to go ahead with her wedding to Nick but, right before the ‘I Do’s', her jealous half-sister, Eva (Catherine Tildesley) announced to the entire congregation the details of Leanne’s wedding day detour, forcing Nick to call the whole thing off, making Christmas Day the second time one of Leanne’s wedding services has been scuppered at the altar.
Now bitterly regretful of her momentary madness, Leanne has made no secret of the fact she wants Nick back, but so far her man, who she wed the first time as a teenager in Gretna Green, is having none of it.
However, he may change his mind after tomorrow night’s grand gesture as Leanne takes the plunge and rearranges a second wedding for the two of them next week, which could end in the fairy-tale dream she longs for, but could just as easily result in her face covered even more in egg!
Will Nick, who believes that Leanne never loved him like she did Peter in the first place, be won over, or will it end in even more heartbreak?
What do you think Nick should do, leave your thoughts and comments below, and if you aren’t entirely sure, here is a reminder of their first wedding to help you decide:
