It would seem there isn’t much to attract a return to the cobbles for Aunty Pam since her niece Molly was killed in the tram crash – especially as her on screen partner, Bill Webster (Peter Armitage) revealed earlier this year that his character was being axed. However, it would seem that Aunty Pam (Kate Anthony) is set to re-appear on our screens soon.

Inside Soap have today revealed that she will be returning to Weatherfield in September, armed with some shocking news that will ruffle many feathers!

We last saw Pam at her niece, Molly’s (Vicky Binns) funeral after she died in the fateful Tram Crash.

Of course, she has a shared interest in the well being of Molly’s son, Jack, who is living with father Kevin (Michael Le Vell) since the devastating untimely death of his mother.
