Fans of Coronation Street will know that Tracy Barlow and Rob Donovan are a match made in heaven, given that there’s really nothing either wouldn’t stoop to in order to get what they want…

So when Rob (Marc Baylis) decides to exact some costly revenge on his sister Carla Connor (Alison King) this week, it’s not surprising that his partner in crime – literally – is our Tracy Love.

The drama begins on Monday, May 20th when, as usual, Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoigne) and Rob are bickering and winding each other up at the bookies. So, to lighten his day, Rob takes Tracy (Kate Ford) into the backroom of the betting shop for what might be described as afternoon delight. However, they leave the coffee machine on, and it floods the shop.

Peter is of course livid but equally, he’s glad to have an opportunity to blame Rob for something else. However, this time, he tells his girlfriend Carla that he can’t work with her brother any longer.

Left with little choice, Carla tells Rob he’ll be returning to the factory, which annoys Rob no end as his resentment at being little more than an errand boy builds.

For her part, Tracy’s fed up that Carla’s got her making the factory’s deliveries while Kirk’s off, so together, Rob and Tracy come up with a plan…

As we’ll see on Friday, when Carla asks Tracy to pick up an expensive order of silk, Rob organises for the silk to be ‘stolen’ from Tracy’s van, and she of course happily goes along with it, later playing the role of victim to a tee.

However, Carla’s mate Michelle (Kym Lomas) is sceptical about the whole thing…

Will Carla uncover her brother’s betrayal? Or will he and Tracy get away with it?

Find out next week, but for now, here’s a look at some of this week’s drama…
