In an interview with All About Soap magazine, Kate Ford has promised lots of “twists and turns” in her current plotline, which will see her character Tracy Barlow revealing that she’s pregnant.

And of course, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) is the father, which Tracy will just love rubbing in Becky’s (Katherine Kelly) face!

We’ll see the storyline kick into high gear when Tracy returns to Weatherfield next week, and breaks the news that he’s going to be a daddy again to Steve.

Kate said, “Being a family with Steve and Amy – and now the new baby – is what she’s wanted for a long time…

“And this is the perfect way to get it. She didn’t do it on purpose, but it’s lucky for her.

“It’s the ultimate revenge for Tracy.

“She told Becky she’d get her man and she did! And now, to be pregnant with his child – the thing Becky couldn’t give him – is just perfect for Tracy.”

But when asked if there was a chance Tracy and Steve could end up as a couple in the long term, Kate said, “Tracy and Steve both love Amy, so who knows?

“There are loads more twists and turns ahead in this storyline with Becky and Steve, but I can’t tell you more yet!”
