Coronation Street: Tony Delivers Maria’s Baby On The Beach
Poor old Maria, she has had no luck at all this year! First of all she has a stillborn baby, then her husband dies and now, pregnant again, she is due to give birth on a cold, sandy beach. Just imagine all the places that sand will get!
Even worse, she has begun to fall for murdering Tony Gordon and finds herself on a romantic day out with him when the contractions start. He moves her to a quiet strip of the coast and rolls his sleeves up, getting ready to catch the newborn.
An insider told The Sun: “At this point Tony and Maria aren’t lovers but it’s not long after the baby’s born they realise their real feelings.
“Maria had a miscarriage not long ago. Delivering her baby makes Tony a hero in her eyes.”
Tony then sets his sights on worming his way into Maria and her baby’s new family.
The insider added: “What Tony gets, Tony wants. He’s ruthless and now Carla’s off the scene he’s determined to have Maria — and Liam’s baby.”

At first I felt nothing but hate for Tony, but as the days go by, I am warming to his character. He is a very clever, devious and cunning guy and may probably make Maria very miserable. But from the episode I saw tonight on tv, for a while they looked like lovers.
Tony and Maria is the most interestin storyline on corrie at mo and is the only reason im watchin it XD ive heard a lot of bad things about this storyline people sayin its stupid, i dont think so, i think maria will be horrified when she finds out she was right all along and that shes let him near her and her baby…which makes for great viewin really…people like the strange storylines. lets face it no one likes the storyline about noris goin or not goin around the world with marry -_- THATS A STUPID STORY! maria and tony on the other hand might win corrie best soap this year if they play the story out well.
Great storyline… I am guessing that they will get together and be happy for a few years and then Carla will come back tell Maria the truth but no one will believe her! I should be a writer! Any job offers Corrie!!!!!????
