Corrie bad guy Tony Gordon spends this month plotting the murder of Liam Connor, convinced that he still having an affair with his fiance, Carla.

Rosie Webster shows Tony footage of the pair snogging and even though nothing had been going on for months, Tony is convinced that the pair have been seeing each other for months.

Tony then sets about organising a trip away on which he plans to do away with Liam, but Maria decides to accompany the boys at the last minute throwing his plans out the window. Tony decides to imrpovise and ends up in a dark cave with Liam, but Corrie bosses won’t reveal if this is where Liam meets his demise.

A Coronation Street insider told The Daily Star: “Rosie Webster shows Tony footage of Carla and Liam kissing.

“He bides his time and watches Carla’s every move as he’s convinced they’re still in the throes of an affair.

“Carla has a share in Liam’s new business so they have been spending more time together.

“And when he spots Carla kissing Liam goodnight it’s all the evidence he needs.

“He decides Liam’s got to go and will do whatever it takes to get rid of him.

“The scenes are going to be some of the most dramatic the soap has ever seen.”
