As we reported yesterday, Corrie’s Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) is about to find out he’s going to be a daddy…

And although he and girlfriend Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede) had just split up in a row over Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) when Ty hears the happy news, he’s overjoyed, and he and Kirsty vow to give their relationship another go.

In fact, within days of hearing the news, Tyrone becomes so determined that he and Kirsty and their baby will be a “proper family”, he proposes to the copper.

But as it’s looking like she’s nuttier than squirrel poo, is Tyrone making the worst mistake of his life by getting hitched to her?

Well, Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) and Tina certainly think so, so when they catch Kirsty having secret chats and meetings with a mystery man, they decide to follow her to prove to Tyrone that she’s cheating on him.

However, the Daily Star reports that after Tommy and Tina tell Tyrone that Kirsty’s cheating on him, Kirsty confesses that she has been meeting with a man, but then adds that he is her cousin Nathan, a car dealer, who was arranging for Tyrone to drive a Ferrari as a surprise gift.

Suitably infuriated by the accusations, Kirsty tells Tyrone it’s over, prompting him to beg forgiveness.

He tells her, “I’m really sorry Kirsty. I shouldn’t have listened to them. I love you. Please will you marry me?”

It remains to be seen if she’ll accept, or if she’s telling the truth about Nathan, but we’ll find out when these scenes air next month.

But if I could give Tyrone one piece of advice it would be, run, run fast, run now, do not look back…

And don’t leave your bunny rabbit anywhere near a slow cooker, and always, always check your shower cubicle before getting in.
