Poor Sean Tully! He is just getting into the idea of being a new dad, when Violet and her new fiance Jamie flee the street with baby Dylan.

The week begins with Sean wanting his name on the babies birth certificate and generally making a nuisance of himself, and it doesn’t take long for Violet and Jamie to realise that they need to get away from Coronation Street if they ever want to be a real family.

Violet takes her chance and proposes to Jamie on February the 29th, and the pair begin to plan their escape. However, Violet’s sister Lauren lets Sean in on the secret and the last we see of Violet and Jamie is them speeding away in a ridiculous orange car, as Sean stands shouting in the street.

Jenny Platt who plays Violet, told The Sun:

“Jamie just speeds off.”

“Violet stares out of the window trying not to look at Sean. She feels so guilty but she knows she has no choice.”
