Coronation Street actress, Kym Marsh, has finally set a wedding date with her long-term partner, former Hollyoaks actor, Jamie Lomas.

Marsh and Lomas began dating back in 2008 and have endured many bumps in the road throughout their turbulent relationship.

In 2009 Marsh and Lomas faced the tragedy of losing their new-born son when he was born prematurely in 2009 causing the couple to split temporarily the following month.

The pair soon reconciled and last year welcomed their daughter Polly, into the world, but have since been the centre of a cheating scandal involving Lomas and a fan back in April.

The couple remained untied throughout the scandal, with Marsh publicly declaring to stand by her man, but stories soon circulated that all was not great in the relationship.

However, reports in today’s Sun newspaper have revealed that the pair, who got engaged back in 2009, have now set a date for their wedding, at the lavish Nunsmere Hall Hotel in September.

A pal said: “They can’t wait. The setting is beautiful.  Kym’s put his night out behind her.”

Their  banns have been  made at their local registry office in Salford, Gtr Manchester.
