Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley has revealed that she’d “kill” to look like her co-star Michelle Keegan, who of course plays the role of Tina McIntyre.

Catherine, who was formerly a size 22 before she lost a huge amount of weight, which saw her drop to a size 10, told TV Biz, “When I started working with my personal trainer, I said, ‘I’d kill to look like Michelle Keegan!’”

She added, “I lost 4½st over the space of about 18 months when I was 17. What worked was healthy eating and exercise.

“I don’t eat any junk food and have loads of organic food and fruit and veg.

“Exercise-wise, I work out four times a week doing weights, swimming and interval training.”

And finally, of Michelle, Catherine, who plays Eva Price, added, “She is just gorgeous, inside and out” and it would appear that the girls’ Corrie co-star Bill Roache feels the same way about Michelle!

Also while speaking to The Sun, Michelle revealed that Bill – who plays Ken Barlow and who recently confessed he’d bedded around a thousand women – is forever trying to pinch her bum.

She said, “I’m not joking, he’s always touching me on the bum. But because it’s Ken Barlow he gets away with it. He’s a legend.”

And apropos of Bill, he visited the show’s new set in Salford’s MediaCity yesterday to see how preparations for the big move are coming along, even though the relocation won’t be complete until the spring of next year.
