Corrie: Gail will help Becky prove Tracy’s lying! And Sally Dynevor’s shock over Frank Foster affair

The New Year is already off to a dramatic start for many of the Street’s residents, what with Sally Webster’s attraction to nasty Frank Foster, and Becky McDonald’s fight to prove she didn’t push Tracy Luv Barlow down the stairs.

More on Sally’s affair with Frank in a moment, but first, in forthcoming episodes, Gail McIntyre (Helen Worth) is about to learn that revenge is indeed a dish best served cold as she jumps at the chance to help Becky (Katherine Kelly) prove just how big a liar Tracy (Kate Ford) is.

As fans of the show will know, when Gail was in prison, Tracy worked with the police to provide them with information that could help them nail Gail – *laughs childishly – on the charge of murdering her husband, Joe McIntyre (Reece Dinsdale)…

And Gail’s never forgiven Tracy for her betrayal, and she always vowed to make Tracy pay. So when Becky approaches Gail for help in proving that Tracy’s lying about the circumstance of her recent miscarriage, Gail’s happy to oblige.

Becky comes up with the plan of getting hold of Tracy’s medical records to prove she lost the babies before the fall she had at Becky’s flat, and as Gail used to work at the surgery, she puts two and two together and comes up with a cunning conspiracy to bring Tracy down.

You’ll have to stay tuned to find out what happens, but another developing plotline that’s causing a few shockwaves is that of Sally Webster and Frank Foster’s romance…

And of it, Sally Dynevor, who of course plays Sally, has revealed to ITV that she was shocked when she heard about the storyline.

She said, “I think the viewers are going to be very worried about Sally. I thought and the viewers thought that I was getting back with Kevin!

“So I think we’ll all be a bit shocked with this storyline, actually. I was certainly shocked by it, but I’m really, really loving it – it’s great.”

Sally went on to say that she fully expects Kevin (Michael Le Vell) to go mad when he learns about her character’s new romance, and of course, as Frank is set to be murdered, we have to wonder just how angry Kevin really is!

However, Sally said, “Kevin is going to be livid. I can’t wait to see that first punch that Kevin gives Frank.

“He’s not going to be happy about it, because he’s been waiting in the wings now for quite a while.

“It’s going to be a very explosive New Year for the Websters – yet again!”

Woop, bring it on!
