Boyzone star Keith Duffy has revealed that he’d love to return to Coronation Street to reprise the role of barman and chef Ciaran McCarthy.

Following a brief return alongside co-star Kym Marsh – who plays Michelle Connor – last November, Keith subsequently left the show in order to spend more time with his family in Ireland.

However, while appearing on ITV chat show Loose Women, Keith told panellist Jane McDonald that he’d love to return to the cobbles.

He said, “I would [go back] I love the show, but my family are in Dublin. and I made a conscious decision to come home for a year because my son was doing his big exam and my daughter was moving from national school to secondary school.”

Meanwhile, it’s also been revealed that Keith’s wife Lisa is “devastated” that her brother Graham Quinn has left his wife of six months, Myleene Klass…

A friend of Lisa’s told the Sun, “She is very upset about the whole thing. Neither she nor Keith will say anything publicly, but privately, it’s painful.

“Graham is Lisa’s brother, Myleene is her sister-in-law and they knew each other well.

“Myleene and Graham were very high profile and everyone is baffled by what actually happened between the pair.”

Heartbroken Myleene was ditched by Graham — whom she called “Gray” — on her 34th birthday in April.
