As fans of Corrie will know, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) has confided in former girlfriend Fiz Stape that his fiancé Kirsty Soames is violent towards him…
And as yet, Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) has no idea that he has, but she’s soon to find out, and predictably, she’s going to be livid!
So livid in fact that she sabotages a machine at the factory – where of course she and Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) work – as Fiz is trying to fix it.
As a result, Fiz receives a horrible injury to her arm and has to be rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
However, Fiz suspects that Kirsty is behind it once she realises that the deranged ex-copper knows that Tyrone’s been talking to her about Kirsty’s abuse…
The Daily Star reports, “The new mum starts a hate campaign against Fiz after discovering she knows all the details about her beating up Tyrone Dobbs.
“Kirsty, played by Natalie Gumede, will try to intimidate her into keeping quiet. And when Fiz is rushed to hospital after a bloody accident in the factory, she knows exactly who to blame.”
After the incident, Fiz tells Tyrone, “She said she didn’t do it and you might believe her but in your head I don’t think you do.
“What’s she going to do next? She injured you and now she’s injured me. Who’s going to be next, Ruby?
“Somebody’s got to do something about it.”
We’ll then see Kirsty being quizzed by police officers after her Fiz makes a formal complaint.
However, pleading innocence, Kirsty tells the cops, “I know what this is about, it’s Fiz saying I did this on purpose.
“Fiz used to go out with my partner, she’s got it in for me.”
But the police officer replies, “Some might say that’s just covering your tracks.”
However, it seems that Kirsty may get away with what she’s done when factory boss Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) backs up Kirsty’s story.
He tells the investigating officer, “Where Fiz gets this idea from that Kirsty’s got it in for her, God only knows.”
See all that drama next week!
