New Coronation Street actor Sol Heras has revealed to Inside Soap magazine that his character Ryan Connor is going to have an affair with one of the Street’s older ladies, but the question is, who is this ‘cougar’?

Well, Sol wouldn’t say, but he did reveal that he’d love to film passionate scenes with Michelle Collins, who of course plays Stella Price.

Sol began by saying, “Ryan’s new love interest is a cougar! It’ll come as quite a shock, but I can’t tell you who it is.”

He added, “I’d like it to be Stella – Michelle Collins is a lovely woman.”

I guess given he’s mentioned Michelle’s character Stella, it won’t be her, so who does that leave as likely candidates?

Well, I guess Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) may – at a stretch – be considered a cougar, or it could be Maria Connor (Samia Ghadie), even though she’s Ryan’s aunt by marriage. It may also be Sunita Alahan (Shobna Gulati) who of course has a proven track record for being unfaithful…

Or maybe Leanne Barlow (Jane Danson) who’s currently living with her ex-hubby Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) despite the fact she’s still in love with estranged husband Peter (Chris Gascoyne).

And finally, it could be Carla Connor (Alison King) who’s due back on the Street in October, but again, she’s Ryan’s aunt by marriage, so would either of them go there?
