Corrie Spoilers: Sol Heras says of Katy Armstrong and Ryan Connor fling, “Ryan isn’t the villain, it’s very much a mutual thing” (VIDEO)
Fans of Coronation Street will most likely know that stunning young mum Katy Armstrong is about to embark on a romance with sexy bad lad Ryan Connor, however, Sol Heras – who plays Ryan – reckons that this time, the trouble that’s afoot isn’t actually Ryan’s fault!
The drama of Katy (Georgia May Foote) and Ryan’s fling begins when former drug addict Ryan steps in at the last minute to be a DJ at a party for Katy’s friend Steph…
Seeing Katy glammed up for the big night out prompts Ryan to see her as someone other than a teenaged mum, and when he later manages to land her a job at the kebab shop working alongside him, things will take a turn for the passionate.
While speaking via the show’s official website – and posing for the photo shoot below – Sol remarked, “Ryan’s only ever seen her play the mother role, but suddenly he sees her dressed up for the first time.
“He realises how pretty she is. Their eyes just meet.
“They have that couple of seconds, then they both go in for the kiss.
“It’s a mutual thing, for once Ryan isn’t the villain, it’s very much a mutual thing.”
Meanwhile, Georgia May said, “Katy hasn’t really had that teenage wild time because she settled down so early with Chesney.
“Her head is really turned by Ryan, she knows it is wrong but she just can’t help herself.”
And Digital Spy report that on Daybreak yesterday, Georgia added, “Poor Ches! But poor Katy as well – she has been sat at home with the baby while he’s been swanning off to the market.
“I don’t think she means to hurt him, it just happens and it’s out of her control, really.”
As we reported recently, Chesney (Sam Aston) is set to discover Katy’s dalliance with Ryan just hours after he’s proposed to her. Bless him.
