Corrie star Kym Marsh fears more women will tell lurid stories about Jamie Lomas!

The skeletons in a celebrity’s closet have a nasty habit of coming out, and most especially when that celeb is a married – or nearly married – man, as Jamie Lomas discovered to his cost earlier this week…

26 year old Katie Moores told a tabloid newspaper that along with a group of friends, she had partied with Jamie – who is of course engaged to Corrie star Kym Marsh – and shared a kiss with him, albeit that she claimed it was “silly” and only a short “drunken” snog.

However, a friend of Kym’s has told the Daily Mirror that Kym – who of course plays the role of Michelle Connor – now fears more women will “come crawling out of the woodwork” to tell lurid stories about Jamie.

The source said, “Now that one person has come forward, Kym’s worried that the floodgates will open and more will come crawling out of the woodwork.

“Kym and Jamie are managing to put on a brave face in public…

“But she is telling her mates she fears it will only be a matter of time before more girls try to cash in by claiming they’ve also had flings with Jamie.”

Kym and Jamie’s relationship has been a notoriously rocky one, with frequent media reports that they’re splitting up, but by and large, Kym’s always denied the couple have any issues other than those faced by any couple, celebrity or otherwise.

But of course, Jamie recently spent some time in the States, and Kym reportedly fears what tales of the unfaithful may come from over the pond.

Her friend said, “Jamie’s been away in LA with his mates and he has been partying quite a lot.

“Nobody recognises him out there, unlike here, where he’s likely to be caught out on anything he does.”

However, while appearing on BBC Breakfast recently, Kym said of the salacious reports in the press, “You get on with it, don’t you really? It’s just one of those things. It’s just part of the job. It’s tricky.

“The last few months have been quite difficult for everyone, including Jamie, while he’s been away.

“But thankfully it’s all coming good again now and everything is settling down.”

Let’s hope she didn’t tempt fate there.
