Corrie star Michelle Keegan “really went for it” while filming fight scenes, plus spoiler clip of Tina in a coma!

As fans of Corrie will most likely know, feisty Tina McIntyre is in for a horrible shock soon when she realizes that Rick Neelan, the loan shark who hounded her dad Joe (Reece Dinsdale) to his death, is now on Tommy and Terry Duckworth’s backs for the money Terry owes him…

Terry (Nigel Pivaro) took out loans from the dodgy company Rick (Greg Wood) works for – who are in fact simply loan sharks – as he tried to get his lap dancing club underway. However, now that’s all gone Pete Tong, Rick’s back on the cobbles and he’ll do whatever it takes to get his money.

And that includes hurting Tina if needs be, much to Tommy’s (Chris Fountain) horror!

In fact, the whole sorry situation is going to result in Tina fighting for her, and of the scenes in which Rick gets physical with petite Tina, Michelle Keegan – who of course plays her – has been telling Inside Soap that she was left covered in bruises.

Of the fight scenes, Michelle said, “I wanted it to look as real as possible, so I really went for it.

“I had loads of bruises – especially because of the loan sharks. They were carrying me about, and I had hand marks all over me!

“I had to fall onto a crash mat, and they made a rubber floor that looked exactly the same as the tiled floor.

“So I had to fall down and whack my head on the fake floor. I was happy to get the chance to do my own stunts, as I’d never done anything like this before.”

The show’s official website has also just uploaded a preview clip – which you can see by clicking here – of the shocking outcome of events for Tina!
