Corrie star Michelle Keegan says her towel scenes aren’t sexy! And her boyfriend Max thought he was going to be a dad!

Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan has told New! magazine that she doesn’t think anyone would find the scenes in which she appears on the show wearing only a towel – which infuriates Tina’s new roomie Kirsty Soames – at all sexy.

Michelle, who of course plays Tina, said of the times she has to parade around Tyrone’s house in a towel, “It’s fine, because underneath I’ve got a massive pair of granny knickers on and a bra, so I don’t feel self-conscious.

“I’m not body confident at all, I’m just very laid back.

“I’ve still got my insecurities, which I think every girl’s got. I’m not 100 per cent confident with my body and obviously there are things that I hate, like my ears, but I’m quite laid back about it.”

Well, laid back Michelle may be in her role as Tina, but she nearly gave her boyfriend Max George – of boy band The Wanted – when Twitter fans congratulated him and Michelle on their pregnancy!

Max told the Daily Star how the scare came about, saying, “Someone tweeted me saying: ‘I am so happy Michelle is pregnant’ and I was like: ‘I don’t know about this…’

“I had a little panic and rang her. She told me she was shopping in a baby shop looking for a present for her cousin’s baby.”

Michelle had been spotted by fans on a spending spree at baby store Mamas & Papas in Manchester.

Max added, “It would be quite weird if I had found out through Twitter. Imagine that!”

And of the prospect of becoming a dad at some point, Max said, “I do definitely want kids, even if I’m still in The Wanted.

“We do talk about it now and again. Not just yet, but I don’t want to be waiting forever to have a kid.

“I’ve got some good godparents to hand with these boys in the band.”

O bless!
