Corrie star Sally Dynevor on how Sally Webster comes face to face with Frank’s killer!
As fans of Corrie will know, Sally Webster found out that Frank Foster (Andrew Lancel) was a duplicitous liar right before he was murdered, but she’s about to find herself in danger from his killer when she unearths some evidence that points to the murderer’s identity.
Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally, has been telling Soaplife all about how her character comes face to face with the desperate killer, and by doing so, puts her own life at risk.
First, when asked what happens when her character turns detective over Frank’s murder, Sally said, “Sally remembers that he had his watch on the day he was killed because he checked it when he was having a go at Carla…
“So she can’t understand why it’s not with his possessions. She wants the police to know about the watch because it might mean the killer isn’t who they all think it is.
“But she doesn’t know who it is. She thinks maybe it wasn’t anyone they suspect, maybe it was just a random robbery.”
Soaplife then asked why Sally goes to Frank’s funeral, given she hated him for what he’d done to her right before he died.
She said, “She hates him, but she goes to support Anne [Gwen Taylor].
“Sally feels really sorry for Anne because she’s a mother herself and Anne’s lost her son. As much as Anne didn’t like her, Sally still feels that she needs to be there for her.”
Sally added that later, her character goes back to Frank’s house…
She said, “After the funeral Sally goes back to the pub, but then she starts to worry about Anne being in the house where Frank lived, so she decides to go round there to check she’s OK.”
And it’s there that Sally stumbles over some evidence that the killer doesn’t want anyone to find.
Sally said, “At first what she discovers doesn’t make sense, but then the penny drops and she realises she herself could be in danger.
“Sally comes face to face with the killer in that episode, but she doesn’t confront them.
“She just wants to get away because she’s so shocked.”
However, Sally’s discovery earns her a smack over the head, and the killer leaves her for dead.
Sally said, “She’s terrified that something could happen to her now that she knows too much…
“And it does!”
Catch all the drama of the funeral and Sally’s brush with death on Monday, March 19th from 7.30pm.

I know now for a fact that Anne Frank’s mum is the killer. This article has told us. I think they should have made the killer Jenny his girlfriend. That would have been a better twist because it’s always been so obvious it’s going to be Anne
