Corrie: Stella Price is livid to find her mum Gloria has turned the Rovers into a B&B!

Coronation Street’s newest resident Gloria Price (Sue Johnston) has wasted no time in getting her feet firmly under daughter Stella’s table at the Rovers, and of course, she’s already shown that she loves nothing more than to interfere!

Gloria pushed Stella (Michelle Collins) into entering the Pub of the Year competition, and has ever since been bullying the pub’s customers into writing glowing remarks on feedback forms.

However, her latest stunt to improve the chances of the Rovers winning the accolade will leave Stella dumbfounded and livid!

The storyline begins when Stella’s called away and has to leave the pub in her mother’s care. And Stella’s no sooner out of the door than Gloria puts her latest scheme into action, turning the pub into a B&B…

And it’s not long before she lands her first paying guest, however, Gloria’s plan was to have the B&B guest out of the building before Stella got home, but that goes awry when Stella comes back early.

And when she realises what’s going on, she angrily orders her mother to have the guest leave, and reminds Gloria that it’s not her pub and these are not decisions she has any right to make…

But can Gloria talk her daughter round? Find out in the episode that airs on Sunday, October 14 at 7pm on ITV1.
