Oh ‘ecky thump! It seems that ex-jailbird John Stape – who of course served time for holding Rosie Webster hostage in his gran’s house – is to commit another crime, but this time, he’s set to become a murderer!
According to the Daily Star, John is set to panic when Colin Fishwick, the teacher whose identity he’s using, comes back to the UK from Canada.
The paper states that John “goes into meldown” when Colin returns and of course it could mean his fraud will be discovered.
The article goes on to add that “Fishwick will end up dead after the two men clash.”
It further reveals that somehow, John’s friend Charlotte Hoyle is also involved in Fishwick’s death…
John’s plan is to hide Fishwick’s body in the burned out ruin on the factory, and apparently he and Charlotte look on as builders pour concrete over the site where the body’s hidden.
John will tell Charlotte, “They’ve gone and buried Colin for us. He’s now underneath a solid cement floor that’s going to be here longer than we are.”
However, Charlotte – who’s played Becky Hindley – replies, “He was my friend. I’m not happy that he’s just lying there under tons of cement.
“The truth’s bound to come out. His family are bound to ask questions.”
John seemingly tries to reassure her by saying, “But that’s just it, we don’t have to do anything. The only thing we have to do is nothing!”
But as ever with Corrie, no wicked deed is ever straightforward and it seems that Carla becomes suspicious when she sees John watching the cement being poured…
