With the Alahan’s in deep financial trouble, Steve MacDonald (Simon Gregson) hands over the cash he won at the casino to Dev (Jimmi Harkishin), taking the blame for the theft from them on the night of the Tram crash.

Whilst using the money to save their shop, the couple consider whether or not to go to the police about the looting, but Becky (Katherine Kelly) finds out and tries to convince them not to, eventually confessing that it was her that stole their money.

This leads to a heated row, with Becky desperately trying to explain her reasons for doing it, and pleading with them not to turn her in.

The row gets out of hand, with other people having to get involved, and consequently finding out not only what Becky did, but also the reason why.

With Kylie (Paula Lane) due back on the street soon, we wonder what the backlash of this will be, as well as Tracy (Kate Ford) losing her hold over the McDonalds, we could be set for some explosive scenes!
