Craig Gazey has admitted that he doesn’t want to return to Coronation Street.

The 29 year old actor has starred as hapless Graeme Proctor on the ITV soap for the last two years but will leave this summer, after his character splits from his girlfriend Tina McIntyre.

Speaking to Inside Soap, Craig confessed that he isn’t thinking about a comeback anytime soon. He said:

“If I did come back, Graeme would be going in a different direction, so in some ways I feel I want to leave him here.”

“I’m not being killed off, but returning isn’t something I’m thinking about just yet.”
