Criminal Minds coming to Sky Living for season 8 – *SPOILERS*

Criminal-Minds-Season

US crime drama Criminal Minds returns for an explosive eighth season, airing exclusively in the UK on Sky Living HD from Monday 28th January at 9pm.

Following the departure of Emily Prentiss (Pagent Brewster) at the end of season seven, the Behavioural Analysis Unit (Bau) welcomes Emmy Award-nominated actress Jeanne Tripplehorn (Big Love, Basic Instinct), as expert linguist Alex Blake. Despite having previous dealings with the bureau, Blake proves to be something of an enigma to her colleagues, as they continue to analyse the country’s most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their every move before they strike again.

The season premiere sees the team tackle a case in which a Texas prisoner escapes during a transfer and consequently is free to terrorise new victims, branding them by sewing their mouths shut. This was in fact the signature of’ The Silencer’, a murderer who was never found and hasn’t struck in years. Will the newcomer be able to handle the challenges of the BAU? Only time will tell.
