DOUBLE BILLS START FRIDAY 8TH, 9PM

Brand new to LIVING this week is the eagerly anticipated fifth series of the Emmy-winning US crime drama CSI: Miami,
which follows a team of forensic scientists as they attempt to solve brutal and grisly crimes on the streets of Florida. In this
slick production, forensic investigators use a combination of cutting-edge scientific methods, technology and good old-
fashioned graft to bring criminals to justice.

In the first of this week’s double bill, Horatio (David Caruso) and Eric (Adam Rodriguez) follow gang boss Antonio Riaz –
the man responsible for the death of Horatio’s wife and Eric’s sister, Marisol – to Rio, in a desperate bid to bring him to
justice. As soon as the men arrive they realise the enormity of the task before them: Rio may be a city of millions, but
no-one is willing to give up Riaz’s location. Horatio does have two people to turn to for help, however, as his brother, Ray,
and sister-in-law, Yelina, live in the city. Worryingly for Horatio, his brother is nowhere to be found, and Yelina is sure he is
working for Riaz. After some rapid detective work, Horatio and Eric find Ray badly beaten and hanging from a roof. Ray
tells Horatio that Riaz is preying on his son, Ray Jr, and begs him to find the boy before it is too late.

Also this week, newest team member Natalia (Eva La Rule) fears her career is over before it has even begun when, during
her first investigation, her kindly words to a young boy are misinterpreted, leading the boy to gun down his stepfather. This
action-packed series opener proves CSI: Miami is back in style, and offers the perfect reason to stay in this Friday night.
