CW orders a second season of Arrow!
CW has confirmed that they have made the wise decision to commission a second season of their hit show Arrow.
Fan reaction has been very positive to the announcement that Arrow will continue to wield his power over the evil villains of Starling City and fight back against their crimes, while continuing with his difficult double life.
After the first season comes to an end, next autumn Arrow will be back on our screens, but what lies ahead for Ollie Queen? We still have five episodes left from the first run and in those it is expected that the Green Arrow will turn his attention to dealing with his mother Moira.
Add to that the fact that the real Deathstroke, Slade Wilson, is set to play a bigger role and things could get very dramatic as the season draws to a close. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead in this latest comic book superhero show.
Arrow is a TV series developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg. It centres around superhero and costumed crime fighter Green Arrow, who originated DC Comics.
The series follows billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) who was stranded on a hostile island for five years but finally returns home and finds a life in fighting crime and corruption. He acts as a secret vigilante whose weapon of choice is a bow and arrows.
