The 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place on Sunday the 26th of January 2014 live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The ceremony will be broadcast in full HD on the CBS Television Network from 8pm until 11:30pm (ET/PT) and Westwood One will cover the even live on radio.
The first list of performers on the night have been released and includes several GRAMMY nominees. So far we know that Daft Punk, Pink and Nate Ruess will perform.
Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons will also perform on the night and a special “GRAMMY Moment” between Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton will take place.
LL COOL J will return as host for the night and we expect more performers, presenters and special segments to be announced over the coming weeks.
For French DJs Daft Punk this will be their first TV performance since they performed at the 50th GRAMMY Awards back in 2008 and for Pink and Nate Ruess this will be the first time they’ve performed together on network television.
While we know the full list of nominations in terms of those set to perform on the night we know that Kendrick Lamar has seven nominations.
These include ‘Best New Artist’, ‘Album Of The Year’ and ‘Best Rap Album’ for ‘Good Kid, M.A.A.D City’. He is also nominated for ‘Best R&B Performance’ for ‘How Many Drinks?’ (with Miguel), ‘Best Rap Performance’ for ‘Swimming Pools (Drank)’ and ‘Best Rap/Sung Collaboration’ for ‘Now Or Never’ (with Mary J.
