US talk show host, David Letterman has struck a deal with his team of writers which will allow him to go back to work next week.

The deal has ensured that Letterman’s writing staff would be failry paid for their work which was distributed online, a major issue in the main writers strike.

This deal will give David Letterman a huge advantage over other TV show hosts, many of whom will also return next week - without their writing teams.
