David Tennant Should Be Fit For Doctor Who
Doctors have said that David Tennant should have recovered enough from his recent back injury to record a new Doctor Who special next month.
Tennant injured his back earlier this month, forcing him to pull out of a stage production of Hamlet. Just weeks after he undergoes surgery to fix the problem he is expected back on the Doctor Who set.
Executive producer, Russell T Davies, said he was “hopeful” Tennant would start filming on 19 January.
“We’ll have to be very careful,” he said. “I don’t think we’ll be swinging him on a wire on his first day back.”
