His future as Doctor Who may not be certain, but it looks as though David Tennant will have no difficulty getting other TV roles if he does step down from the hit BBC Sci-Fi show.
Rumours suggest that later this year, Tennant will be guest starring in the last series of Ricky Gervais’ Extras, and the role may even be linked to his timelord status.
A BBC insider said: “David’s a huge fan of the show and extremely popular, so we’ve signed him up. He’ll be in good company as we’re lining up some other great names.”
The cast also includes comedians Hale and Pace, former Steps star Lisa Scott Lee and X Factor poser Chico.
