David Tennant Will Bring Hamlet To The Small Screen
Doctor Who actor David Tennant is taking his version of Hamlet from a west end stage to the small screen later next year.
The outgoing Doctor star won critical acclaim for his performance in the recent Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of the play, even though he was forced off the stage for weeks due to a back injury.
American television network PBS has scheduled the TV adaptation of the classic play for 2010 as part of its Great Performances series.
Patrick Stewart will also appear.
