Little Britain star David Walliams has been chatting about progression on the script for the movie version of the show and also about a second series of the American adaptation.

Walliams told The Sun:

“We’re really happy with it, but the whole film project is still kind of dependent on how much we can raise our profiles in America…Ultimately, our aim was always to make a film and it’s very exciting,” he explained.

The untitled script is thought to have been passed to Red Hour, the production company run by Ben Stiller.

Walliams revealed some spoilers for seaon two of Little Britain USA saying: “We do have some new ideas for characters – a mum feeding her son to make him the fattest boy in America, a psycho American girlfriend, but without the bunnies, a woman who has everything Disney-themed, and some annoying Scottish air hostesses.”
