Davina McCall has admitted that she wouldn’t be tempted to replace Fern Britton on This Morning, saying they wouldn’t pay her enough to make it worth it.

Speaking to Heat magazine, the Big Brother presenter said: ‘Would I do it? It’s an enormous commitment and probably not enough money for me to spend that much time away from my kids.’

She cheekily added: ‘Although the opportunity to work with the silver fox that is Pip Schofield is quite tempting.’

Davina explained that she had worked very hard in the past ’so that I don’t have to work very hard.’

‘It’s party because of my upbringing but I feel really atrocious if I’m not with my children a couple of days a week – even if it’s just to do the school run in the morning.’
