Derren Brown has blasted ’spiritualist medium’ Derek Acorah’s for taking part in a Michael Jackson seance for Sky 1.

This really was the worst display of ’spiritualism’ I have ever seen. Derek Acorah should be ashamed of himself for stooping so low. Those fans were clearly not in a stable emotional state and were disgracefully exploited. Even for just a second we assume that the dead can be contacted…as if Michael Jackson would ‘pop in’ to a room with a dubious ‘medium’ and 5 fans, just at the time it was live on TV. In my less than humble opinion…the man’s a charlatan.

So why watch it at all!!!!!! Michael was in that room with those guys. His spirit lives on for those who really loved him and nothing anyone says or does here now can change that. I agree with the majority here, a real pile of crap! Nothing happened in that seance that couldn’t be explained by Acorah making things up or ‘open reading’. How convenient that Jacksons spirit wasn’t compatible with channeling. It would have been great to see him take over Acorahs body and for him to moon walk around the studio! If you love Michael Jackson and want to honor him then watch one of his concerts or listen to his cd’s. What happened tonight left a very bad taste in my mouth. (and I apologies for my spelling mistakes).

I myself went to a medium wehen I lost my husband suddenly and tragically. I was given information that only my husband and I could have known, and felt his closeness just as that girl felt Michael close to her.
There is no reason that MJ shouldn’t try to communicate with a few of his close fans. He lived for his music and the adoration of us, his REAL fans.

How he ever gets on TV i dont know. Some of the mediums are clever at how the cold or warm read but i am not sure that even though it may help with a lost loved one that we should pretend we can talk to them as if they are al in a big room somewhere as i am pretty sure they arent.
Losing loved ones is bloody awful but a part of life and usually makes us stronger and teaches while still remembering. this is just shameful. I couldnt sleep at night if i was him.
