Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria has said that she will really miss her co-star Nicollette Sheridan when she leaves the hit US TV show.

Sheridan announced that she would be leaving the show where she plays Edie Britt at the end of the current season.

“I love her so much as a person, and I love the character of Edie Britt, that I can’t imagine the show without her,” Eva told Extra.

Nicollette’s co-star James Denton, who plays Mike Delfino in the show also spoke of upcoming storylines leading up to Edie Britt’s departure, telling Usmagazine.com that he doesn’t know what will happen to her character. “I’m totally out of the loop on that,” he said.

“I talked to Nicollette about it.

“I know they’re trying to send some misdirection out there, so I’m not positive.

“We’re shooting an episode right now where one of the characters got shot – and it’s not Nicollette’s,” he added,
