Movie star William H Macy has defended his wife Felicity Huffman and claimed that while she might not be the most conventionally beautiful, she is the sexiest actress on Desperate Housewives.

The actor says he is fed up with Huffman’s co-stars Eva Longoria Parker, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross and Nicollette Sheridan overshadowing his partner and commanding much of the fans attentions.

William said: “The others are sort of model-beautiful women and Felicity is not a model type. But I think she’s the sexiest on that show. She keeps in really great shape.

“She’s got the kind of body that makes me melt. She’s strong and lithe and capable. I love that.”
