“Desperate Housewives” is coming to an end and it’s set to be an emotional double bill, when the long running drama series says goodbye with a double bill next week.

On May 13th ABC will dedicate two hours of their schedule to the hit show and Wisteria Lane will be the place to be, for all fans.

Renee is preparing for her wedding day and everything seems to be in order, however Julie throws a spanner in the works and sends Renee, her mum Susan and neighbour Gabby into a panic when her waters break as they travel to the ceremony. Will they make it to the church on time, or is a hospital visit on the cards?

What we can tell you without ruining the episode – titled ‘Finishing The Hat’ – is that Renee does manage to make it to her wedding reception at least, and very aptly, an emotional Lynette proposes a toast to “remembering.” We remember….eight great seasons of our favourite show!

Tom meanwhile turns mentor in the promo below and advises someone off camera to say the things they need to when they still can and Katherine pays the ladies a visit.

Also in the final episode, one of the women is planning to sell her house; while another one visits a man in prison.

The series finale of “Desperate Housewives” will air in the US this Sunday, May 13 on ABC and in the UK next month on E4.
