Teri Hatcher has revealed how she made a scrapbook of all the memorable moments from Desperate Housewives for her departing co-star Nicollette Sheridan.

Hatcher told Us Weekly: “She will definitely be missed. I think she is irreplaceable, but I do think that a neighbourhood, kind of like an ER, is a place where people rotate through.

“There are so many great actors and so many storylines imaginable that there has to be a way to fill and surprise the audience with something new.”

Speaking about the scrapbook, she added: “I pulled pictures from all the different seasons and magazine articles and quotes, shots from the awards – everything we’ve all done together over the five years.”
