Dexter’s seventh season is still quite a bit off but Showtime have spoiled us this week with a full length trailer for the new run.

It has been announced that Jason Gedrick will be a regular guest star in the new series. The 47 year old star has previously appeared in ‘Bad Boys’ ‘Desperate Housewives’ and more recently the doomed TV series ‘Luck’ and will next take on the role of a gentlemen’s club owner in the Miami area.

Check out the new trailer below, in which a chilling voice declares:

“Maybe everything is exactly as it should be”, as a large blood coloured T is emblazoned across the screen.

We have no idea what the programme makers are getting at, but because it’s Dexter, we have to admit we are pretty excited to find out!

In the season six finale, Dexter’s sister Deb discovered him killing Travis and his reaction to being found out by his adopted sibling is show in the new trailer also. It really is an ‘Oh God’ moment.
