Dexter Season Two Returns To ITV

“Two treasure hunters made a gruesome discovery today when they stumbled upon, what appears to be, a mass underwater grave off the Florida coast. A spokesperson for Miami Dade Police Department told us that with seven different bodies already identified the city has called for help from the FBI as this shapes up to be the largest manhunt in the history of the State.”
Dexter Morgan has a problem.
Actually he has several problems, and that’s not counting the fact that he is a serial killer. Was a serial killer, for it has been nearly forty days since he was forced to slit his brother Rudi’s throat, and, despite his best efforts, he can’t bring himself to kill anyone. It isn’t that he doesn’t want to – he needs to – but for some reason at the moments when it counts most, he is getting performance anxiety. He just cannot do it.

dexter the 1st series was so good i loved it. it was dark, insightful into the human condition, funny, made me think about my own and other peoples morality and why we choose to live as we do, had well developed characters none of which were rehashes of characters from other shows, did not dumb down to appeal to everyone, was prepared to let a story just be and not bring it to a nice neatly packaged conclusion just for the sake of viewers wanting to tie up loose ends, and o yes did i say it was dark dark dark dark dark.
i really hope this next dexter keeps up the quality that the 1st series had.
