Lily Cole will make her guest appearance in this week’s episode of Doctor Who, titled – The Curse Of The Black Spot.

The British model – who has previously starred in ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ alongside the late Heath Ledger – will take on the role of a dangerous seductress who will terrorise a pirate, played by ‘Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville.

The magical temptress will also put the crew of his ship under a spell and lures them away one by one before The Doctor intervenes, after he and Amy Pond land the TARDIS on top of the ship.

It has been reported that The Doctor (Matt Smith) is at first unwilling to help the captain who pulls a gun on him, and jokes: “You’re big on the gun thing aren’t you? Freud would say that you’re compensating.”

Lily previously revealed she was delighted to have landed a part in ‘Doctor Who’.

She said: “It’s a great script and a fun character and I am glad to be involved.”

According to one insider, the flame-haired beauty “jumped at the chance” to feature in the series as she’s a huge fan of the show.

The source added: “Lily’s a big fan of the show and jumped at the chance to appear. It’s a real ocean adventure.”
